or a complaint at any time during your stay, please let someone know
immediately. We hope our staff can assist you quickly and to your
satisfaction.
If a resolution does not meet your satisfaction, please let your case
manager know. You can reach your case manager by dialing 5510 on your
hospital phone. If you are still unable to resolve an issue, please
contact our hospital administration Department by dialing 5420.
You also may file a grievance if your concerns or complaints remain
unresolved. To file a grievance or complaint, please call our Quality
Department at extension 5619 from any hospital phone or call
484-596-5619 from an outside phone. You may also file a grievance with
the Pennsylvania Department of Health or The Joint Commission (TJC) on
the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations at the following

Condition H
We are committed to making our hospital the safest place to receive
care.We recognize the need to support and offer emergent assistance to
our patients and their families when immediate medical attention is
required. If it appears your family member’s health is worsening quickly
or if you see a noticeable change or believe immediate medical attention
is necessary, asking for help from the staff nearby is the fastest way
to get assistance. Ring the call bell or ask for help from a passing
staff member. If this doesn’t work, or you’re still not comfortable with
the medical situation, you may call for rapid response through
“Condition H.” You can initiate Condition H to call for immediate
medical assistance by dialing 711 on any hospital phone.
Ethical Issues
The Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital Ethics Committee responds to ethical issues
identified at the hospital. The committee consists of representatives
from the medical staff, education, nursing, human resources, case
management and admissions, along with psychology and the community at
large. If you or your family feels you have an ethical issue, you can
contact the Ethics Committee through your case manager. All inquiries
and discussions are confidential.
