At Paoli Hospital, providing you and your family with information about your health, treatment options and care plans is one of our primary focuses. We understand that too much or too little information can be challenging. Please help us meet your needs by letting us know if we can do anything to help you understand your condition and plan of care.
All of our highly qualified healthcare professionals attempt to provide patient information through several avenues. Each method provides information on a wide variety of health-related issues, such as cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, women's health, men's health, maternity, orthopedics, nutrition, exercise, stress and more. Listed below are a few of the opportunities for education that you may encounter during your stay.
Patient Education TV
Our Patient Education channel features a variety of health-related educational programs throughout the day. Please take advantage of watching an educational program, as it may help to answer some of your questions. Ask your nurse or healthcare professional for information and guidance on how to access the Patient Education channel.
Written Material
A wide variety of written material is available on each nursing unit and in each specialty area. We make every attempt to provide you with current information, but if we haven't met your expectations, please let us know.
Healthcare Professionals
We have a diverse group of highly qualified healthcare professionals to answer your questions. If you have a question about your health, a medical test or procedure, diet, exercise or any other health-related issue, please ask. Our goal is to answer your questions before you ask, but if we haven't, please let us know.
