The Inglis Foundation recently presented Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital with the 2009 Inglis Award for Continuing Excellence, in recognition of the hospital's Art Ability program. The Inglis Foundation has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with physical disabilities since 1974, and now serves over 2,000 people in Philadelphia.
Art Ability is an international, juried exhibition and sale of art and fine crafts created by artists with physical, cognitive, hearing and visual disabilities. The 14th annual exhibit and sale will kick off on November 7 and continue through January 17, 2010.
