In attempts to raise awareness towards stroke, Main Line Health has created the StrokeSmart Program, which provides information on recognizing and seeking proper medical treatment for stroke victims.
The goals of the StrokeSmart Program are to:
Establish standards of care, based on best practices, uniformly at each hospital
Improve clinical outcomes
Increase patient and practitioner satisfaction with stroke care
Educate the community in symptom recognition and the importance of emergent care
