Main Line Health's expert staff, top-notch facilities and comprehensive services combine to offer complete, family-centered care for women with normal and high-risk pregnancies. Our services include monitoring and testing during pregnancy and delivery of the newborn, and care for the mother throughout the postpartum period.
When health status, family history, a mother's age or an obstetrical finding increase the risk in pregnancy, expectant mothers may be referred to a Main Line Health Perinatal Testing Center for counseling and testing.
The Main Line Health Hospitals also provide personalized care to premature babies and other seriously ill newborns in our Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). These units are staffed by board-certified neonatologists, specially trained nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers and pharmacists whose primary responsibilities are to provide care and services to babies.
