Urogynecology is a
subspecialty of
obstetrics and
gynecology that deals
with the diagnosis and
management of disorders
of the muscular pelvic
floor in women (also
called the pelvic
diaphragm). Our
urogynecologists are
highly experienced in
treating female pelvic
floor disorders and
perform more procedures
than any other program
in the area. In addition
to our expert
physicians, our team
consists of physical
therapists and
continence nurse
specialists who work
together to address
pelvic floor problems,
such as urinary
incontinence, pelvic
organ prolapse,
recurring urinary tract
infections and sexual
dysfunction.
