Nephrology is the
medical specialty
concerned with the
kidneys. The
nephrologists of
Main Line Health offer
advanced techniques in
the diagnosis and
treatment of
hypertension and medical
kidney
(renal) problems,
including chronic and
acute renal disorders,
nephrolithiasis (kidney
stones), diabetic
nephropathy (kidney
disease), renal failure,
difficult-to-control
hypertension and certain
complications of
pregnancy.
Persons with advanced
kidney failure are
treated in dialysis
units available to
inpatients and
outpatients at Bryn Mawr
Hospital and Lankenau
Medical Center.
