Dr. Lucas Smith, MD
The Class of 2013
Dr. Luke Smith grew up in rural Bedford,
Pennsylvania. From there he
traveled to Los Angeles and attended
Occidental College. He pursued
research in marine biology with the
support of a Howard Hughes Medical
Institute grant, exploring the Pacific
Ocean above and below the water.
Dr. Smith graduated from Occidental with
honors in biology. He went on to
earn his MD at Drexel University College
of Medicine. Dr. Smith continued
research while at Drexel with the
Women’s Health Education Program,
developing and piloting nutrition
interventions, including a food label
card game. In his spare time he
enjoys spending time with his wife,
running, building boats, and SCUBA
diving to explore the mysteries of the
deep.

Dr. Christine Strunk, DO
The Class of 2013
Dr. Christine Strunk is originally from
Pittsburgh, PA. After attending
Franklin and Marshall College in
Lancaster, PA where she played
basketball and majored in biology, she
earned her medical degree at
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine. She currently lives in
Center City Philadelphia and enjoys
spending time outdoors, playing sports,
and trying out new restaurants.
Dr. Strunk is interested in holistic
primary care and practicing integrative
medicine after residency.

Dr. Yoav Tal, MD
The Class of 2013
Dr. Tal is originally from the
Washington DC area, Dr. Yoav Tal
graduated from Oberlin College in Ohio
with a BA in Economics in 2003.
Following graduation he worked on
international development projects
around the world for CHF
International, one of the countries'
largest international development
organizations. He later
attended the Medical School of
International Health at Ben Gurion
University in Be'er Sheva, Israel. He
enjoys biking, running and rooting for
DC sports teams in a large Philadelphia
crowd.

Dr. Dolores Tornambe, DO
The Class of 2013
Dr Dolores Tornambe grew up in Audubon,
Pennsylvania. She graduated Suma Cum
Laude with honors from Cabrini
College where she was valedictorian
in 2006. She earned her Masters
Degree in Biomedical Sciences in
2006 and Medical Degree in 2010 from the
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine. She has several years of
research experience in developmental
biology with work published. In her
spare time, Dr Tornambe loves spending
time with her family and fiancé,
watching sports, cooking Italian food,
and traveling to Disney World.

Phillip Dobson, MD
The Class of 2014
Dr. Phillip Dobson grew up in Seaford
Delaware, and completed his
undergraduate degree in Biology and
Chemistry at the University of Delaware
in 2007. He earned his medical degree
from Jefferson Medical College in 2011.
He loves spending time with his wife and
son, hiking with his dogs, and attending
various sporting events. His wife is a
pediatric health psychologist at A.I.
DuPont Hospital for children, and they
reside in Wilmington Delaware.

Kimberly Jones-Mudd, DO
The Class of 2014
Dr. Kimberly Jones-Mudd grew up in
Philadelphia, PA. She attended
University of Pittsburgh where she
received a B.A. in Political Science
with a concentration in Latin American
Studies. After some time away from
school, she returned to attain a
Master's Degree in Biomedical Science
and a Medical Degree from UMDNJ-SOM.
During a medical missions trip in Texas
and Mexico in the summer following her
second year of medical school, she
worked with patients who had undiagnosed
high blood pressure and diabetes. They
were completely unaware of all the
complications they were at risk for and
it was then that she decided to pursue
family medicine because she developed a
real appreciation of the need for
primary care physicians. While she has
enjoyed her time in NJ, she is happy to
be back in Pennsylvania, working in the
field she loves. In her spare time, she
enjoys spending time with her family and
friends especially the cherished moments
with her husband.

Adam Tyson, MD
The Class of 2014
Dr. Tyson was born in Tennessee spent
the first 8 years of his life in Georgia
and the next 9 years in Guatemala. He
obtained his undergraduate degree from
Lee University in Cleveland, TN in 2001.
After teaching in public schools for
four years, Adam decided to pursue his
passion of becoming a physician. He
graduated from Quillen College of
Medicine at East Tennessee State
University in 2010. Adam chose family
medicine because the field embodies the
kind of physician he always envisioned
himself being. He enjoys spending time
with his wife and children, exploring
new restaurants, and traveling.

Linda Vilbert, DO
The Class of 2014
Dr. Vilbert grew up in West Chester, PA
and graduated from Old Dominion
University with a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing and West Chester University with
a Masters in Nursing. After years of
working as a nurse and raising a family,
she decided to return to school and
graduated from the Philadelphia College
of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. Her
home is in Downingtown, PA where she
enjoys spending time with her family and
bicycling.

Allen Dimino, M.D.
The Class of 2015
Dr. Allen Dimino was born and raised in
the Philippines. He completed his
undergraduate degree in Nursing at Saint
Louis University in Baguio City,
Philippines. He immigrated to the United
States and worked as a nurse &
obtained his Masters in Nursing at the
University of Medicine and Dentistry in
New Jersey. Fascinated by the many
breakthroughs in medical science, he
decided to pursue his childhood dream.
He went back to the Philippines and
earned his medical degree from Saint
Louis University School of Medicine in
2009. His home is in Bayonne, NJ and
enjoys traveling whenever he can.

Duron Lee, M.D.
The Class of 2015
Dr. Duron Lee grew up in Springfield, MA
and obtained his undergraduate degree in
chemistry from Renesselaer Polytechnic
Institute in Troy, N.Y. In pursuit of
his passion for medicine and aspirations
of becoming a physician, he obtained his
masters degree in Biomedical Science
from Barry University in Miami, FL. From
there, attended Drexel College of
Medicine in Philadelphia. During his
medical school education, he decided to
pursue a PhD in biomedical engineering
with a research focus in celluar and
tissue engineering. After graduating
from Drexel in 2009, he completed an
intenship in general surgery at Lankenau
Medical Center and decided to pursue a
career in family medicine. In his spare
time, he enjoys cooking and discovering
new cuisines, traveling and spending
time with his family

Timothy Mack, D.O.
The Class of 2015
Dr. Timothy Mack grew up in West
Chester, PA and worked in Information
Technology after high school and worked
at Bryn Mawr Hospital in the radiology
department. After graduating from West
Chester University he went to
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic
Medicine and graduated in 2012. Timothy
Mack, DO was set on primary care from
the beginning after being mentored by
local family physicians. Dr. Mack enjoys
spending his free time with his wife and
daughter and loves skateboarding, hiking
and traveling.

Valerie Vilbert, D.O.
The Class of 2015
Dr. Valerie Vilbert grew up in
Downingtown, PA and graduated from
McGill University with a Bachelors of
Science in Physiology. She earned her
medical degree from Philadelphia College
of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. She
enjoy family medicine because she is
able to see patients of all ages and
incorporate all areas of medical
knowledge. In her spare time she enjoys
music, reading and spending time with
her family.
