Types of Gifts

Your contribution to the Main Line Health Heart Center helps to maintain a superior level of cardiac care in the five-county area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia), supports cutting-edge research and important education for both physicians and consumers.

Annual Fund
Unrestricted contributions received through the Annual Fund are put to work in every area of the Heart Center, including basic and clinical research, medical education, community education, outcomes assessment, and quality improvement. Contributions can by made by donating online or by calling the Development Office at 484-476-2683.

Memorials and Tributes
Memorial and tribute gifts offer a meaningful way to pay tribute to someone who passed away or honor a family member on a special occasion. Donors also use this type of gift to say "thank you" to a particular physician or medical staff member who played a significant role in their treatment or that of someone they know. If you would like to speak to someone about having gifts made in memory of your loved one to the Heart Center, contact the Development Office at 484-476-2683.

Workplace Donations
If your company matches employee gifts for nonprofit organizations, you may be able to double the impact of your generosity to the Heart Center. You can also designate the Heart Center through United Way's Donor Choice program. For more information about giving through your workplace, contact your personnel office.

Designated Donations / Funds for Excellence
Designated gifts support projects in an area of your choice (e.g., education programs, research, etc.). For more information, click here, or contact the Heart Center Development Director at 484-476-2683.

Sensations of the Heart Gala and Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Our annual gala and golf tournament generate significant funds to support Heart Center highest priority needs. Friends of the Heart Center, patients, physicians, staff and corporate and foundation partners gather for a fun-filled day and evening celebrating Heart Center accomplishments and recognizing the recipient of the Heart Center’s annual Distinguished Leadership Award.

Endowments
Endowments help sustain Heart Center projects today and into the future. The corpus of such gifts is carefully invested, and a portion of the annual earnings provide permanent income for the Heart Center. Gifts may be earmarked for education, research or general operating costs. more 

Planned Gifts
Planned gifts are bequests conveyed through a will or trust agreement. Some of these gifts are designed for immediate use by the Heart Center. Others can be set up to provide lifetime income to you and/or another with the income passing to the Heart Center at death.  Planned gifts often offer you or your heirs additional tax benefits, which your attorney or financial advisor can best explain. We are grateful to all who include the Main Line Health Heart Center in their estates.
