The Obstetrics/Gynecology Residency Program --
under the direction of Norman A. Brest, MD --
includes instructors from the medical staff at
Lankenau Medical Center, many of whom have
faculty appointments at Jefferson Medical

Curriculum
The curriculum for the Ob/Gyn Residency Program
includes intense instruction in the areas of
obstetrics and gynecology as well as in all four
sub-specialties. View

Residency Schedule The Obstetrics/Gynecology Residency
Program is a four year program in which
residents spend time on ambulatory and in
patient clinical settings performing routine and
highly technical tasks. View

Call Schedule Night Float is a rotation that all
residents participate in. View

Teaching As a resident you are expected to
teach medical students who rotate through
Lankenau as well as Junior residents as you
progress through the residency.
Ambulatory Services All residents have continuity clinics
and build a pool of patients to follow

complete a research project with advice and
guidance from a faculty physician. More
