Fellows in the Lankenau Medical Center Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program will serve in a number of rotations during the three-year program. These rotations are designed to expose the fellow to a wide range of work in the Hematology/Oncology specialty, as well as offering them work in a variety of settings.
Rotations by training year are listed below.
Year One:
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Service, Lankenau Medical Center
- Outpatient Office, Lankenau Cancer Center
- Radiation Oncology, Lankenau Medical Center
- Laboratory Medicine and Radiology, Lankenau Medical Center
- Subspecialty Continuity Clinic, Lankenau Medical Center
Year Two:
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Service, Lankenau Medical Center
- Outpatient Office, Lankenau Cancer Center
- Surgical Oncology, Lankenau Medical Center
- Bone Marrow Transplant, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
- The Hemophilia Center, Cardeza Foundation, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
- Research (two months)
- Subspecialty Continuity Clinic, Lankenau Medical Center
Year Three:
- Inpatient Hematology/Oncology Service, Lankenau Medical Center
- Outpatient Office, Lankenau Cancer Center
- Research (nine months)
