Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital represents the best of what health care can and should be. The beautiful campus, the state-of-the-art facilities, the comprehensive programs and services, and our superior medical and nursing care as well as highly trained medical staff all contribute to making Bryn Mawr a place where people can reclaim their lives after catastrophic injury or illness. However, there are many significant challenges facing a specialty hospital such as Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital; chief among them are declining reimbursements, a growing shortage of nurses, rapidly changing technology and ever-present need to expand and keep up-to-date our facilities and infrastructure. The Bryn Mawr Rehab Foundation is committed to addressing these challenges. As well, the Foundation plays an active role in the hospital's community education activities and making the public aware of the needs of rehab patients.
