Experienced, board-certified surgeons are committed to offering the latest and most innovative approaches to care. Surgeons affiliated with the Bryn Mawr Hospital Cancer Center are among the best in the region and are at the forefront of minimally invasive approaches to diagnosis and treatment.
Services are provided by board-certified physicians and nurses who work closely with the referring physician, the family and other members of the treatment team to provide each patient with individualized care. Outpatient chemotherapy and other medical modalities are supervised in a supportive and nurturing environment. Bryn Mawr medical oncologists are also actively involved in the investigation of new therapeutic medical treatments for various cancers.
Our advanced Radiation Oncology Center employs the latest in treatment technology, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), brachytherapy and radioimmunotherapy. We are constantly evaluating newer modalities, such as stereotactic radiosurgery. For patients requiring hospitalization, we offer a designated Inpatient Oncology Unit staffed by oncology-certified nurses who are specially trained to care for cancer patients.
