Gifts to The Riddle HealthCare Foundation help to support the healthcare services and programs Riddle Memorial Hospital provides to the community.

In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult for community hospitals like Riddle to fill the gap between rising costs and lower reimbursement from insurers. Philanthropic support helps to close this gap and allows Riddle to make significant investments, including:

• Construction of a new medical office building (Health Care Center IV) that will become the new home for our orthopedic, speech & hearing and rehab services along with a new 500-space parking garage
• Installation new state-of-the-art EKG monitors in our fleet of ambulances
• Training and education for our physicians and members of the clinical staff on topics from acute stroke to emergency situations during childbirth
• The Cancer Center at Riddle that provides radiation and chemotherapy services in a surburban setting
• A state-of-the-art clinical information system that creates electronic medical records
• New fetal monitors in the Birthplace
• The Fund for Nursing Excellence which supports innovative ideas contributed by members of the nursing staff designed to improve patient care and comfort during their hospital stay.
