Main Line Health Alternative Therapy Programs

Many menopausal women have found success dealing with they symptoms of menopause by seeking alternative and non-traditional therapies, such as making changes in diet, exercise and lifestyle. The hospitals of Main Line Health offer a number of alternative health programs that can help you through this challenging life phase, including yoga, massage and more.  Learn more about these programs below.

WELL FIT PROGRAM

An on-going exercise program for adults who want to maintain fitness. Program includes a health evaluation by certified personnel, follow-up report, and personalized fitness program. Individuals can work out at various Main Line Health physical rehab locations between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.  A physician's consent is necessary prior to enrollment.

YOGA

Stimulates the body to function efficiently by relieving stress, increasing flexibility, strength and endurance through the balance of quiet and active Yoga poses.  It works the whole body, and is suitable for people of all ages and physical abilities.

PERFECT FIT

A specialized rhythmic movement program set to music to increase flexibility, improve self-image and feel better emotionally.

MASSAGE

Ease muscle tension, reduce pain, and restore energy with one-hour full body massage with a certified massage therapist.
