Main Line Health provides prenatal
breastfeeding classes, as well as staff trained in breastfeeding to
assist breastfeeding mothers and babies during their hospital stay.
Lactation rounds are made routinely on each breastfeeding mother.
Lactation support is available during the baby's hospital stay, to all
breastfeeding mothers with babies in the NICU and on Pediatrics.
After discharge, we offer free Breastfeeding
Mothers Support Groups open to anyone in the community.
In addition, we offer a “Warmline” for moms to call. We offer free
follow up support by phone with our “Warmline.” Any new mothers can
call, leave a message, and a MLH Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Appointments are available with a Main Line Health System IBCLC at Paoli
Hospital for any mother experiencing breastfeeding challenges,
regardless of where her baby was born.
Board Certified Lactation Consultants
Board certified lactation consultants are available for home or office
consults on a fee-for-service basis. Listed are private practice
lactation consultants whose names are made available to you, though not
sponsored by Main Line Health.
