Main Line Health Laboratory (MLHL) is concerned about your privacy.  Like other health care providers, MLHL implemented specific policies and procedures related to your health information in response to the 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).  HIPAA, the first comprehensive federal law devoted to health privacy protections, enhances the privacy and security of health information  through improved security measures to protect health data and expanded privacy protections that give individuals more access and control over their personal health information.
