Joining a fitness center is an important first step toward a healthier
lifestyle, and finding the one that is right for you is just as
important. The Fitness Center at Riddle Hospital, located in Health
Center 4, is a full service fitness and health facility dedicated to
promoting an improved quality of life through the practice of healthy
lifestyle habits. The facility is equipped with a variety of top of the
line cardiovascular and strength training equipment, shower and locker
room facilities and towel service.
Medically Based Fitness Programs
Riddle’s Medically Based Fitness Program helps members achieve their
health and fitness goals in a structured and safe environment. All
memberships include a Health Risk Profile, initial and follow-up fitness
evaluations, two personal training sessions and an individualized
exercise program designed in accordance with guidelines from the
American College of Sports Medicine, the National Strength and
Conditioning Association and the American Council of Exercise. Certain
individuals, depending on their medical history or lifestyle habits, may
be required to obtain medical clearance from their physician prior to
joining the program.
50+ Fitness
While we offer fitness programs for individuals of all ages (those under
the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian) one of our
specialties is designing programs for men and women over 50 years of
age. All of our members are consistently monitored and as their fitness
levels improve their programs are modified to accommodate these changes.
Membership Information
Our center offers a wide variety of membership options, including Zumba,
Pilates and Yoga classes for members and non-members. We also
participate in various insurance reimbursement plans, including Silver
Sneakers and Independence Blue Cross Healthy Lifestyles. To find out
