Paoli Hospital's $16.5 Million Expansion Campaign Needs You

Many stories can be told about Paoli Hospital and what it has meant to our community over the years.

Over time, these stories have contributed to an outstanding reputation in the community, and regionally. Every story has the same theme: People turn to our hospital when they need excellent medical care. They turn to Paoli because our caregivers respond with skill and compassion. They turn to Paoli because they know our staff treats them with warmth and understanding.

All the skill and compassion in the world, however, can only go so far. When a community grows, as ours has, it takes careful planning to define what a hospital needs to be in the future. Five years of thought and effort have gone into planning what Paoli Hospital must do to continue serving the healthcare needs of our patients.

The result of our planning? A new Pavilion that will double the square footage of our hospital to almost 487,000 square feet.

The new Pavilion will provide our patients and families with:

• A new Emergency Department triple our current size
• A new Surgical Department four times our current size
• A new and expanded Intensive Care Unit with 28 beds
• 64 new private rooms
• Shelled space to accommodate 30 private rooms for the future

These new facilities will address the tremendous growth at Paoli Hospital, and accommodate new technologies that have dramatically improved medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment. They will be built based on the latest research in hospital design in order to promote the healing and well-being of our patients.

To complete this expansion, Paoli Hospital will need the community's support. That is why the Hospital has launched a $16.5 million expansionl campaign, Building Paoli Hospital. Campaign Goals

To accommodate the rapid growth in our community, Paoli Hospital is expanding its facilities to include a new Pavilion which will include a new emergency department, surgical department, intensive care unit and private patient unit.
