Caring Families: This new support program provided by Main Line Health System focuses on the process of supporting a loved one who wants to quit cigarette smoking. This program includes helpful information about successful techniques in supporting a tobacco smokers quitting experience and general information about tobacco and nicotine.
The educational session goes beyond teaching about how to assist your loved one at one of the difficult times in life. It includes information about:
What keeps smokers hooked
Teaching coping mechanisms
Health and financial benefits of becoming smoke free
Methods of support
Caring Families is designed to educate men, women and children who want to support a smoker trying to quit. The programs will be held in conference rooms of Paoli Memorial Hospital.
