Otolaryngology

The otolaryngologists at Bryn Mawr Hospital provide services for all phases of ear, nose and throat care, and also head and neck surgery. Hearing and balance services include basic audiologic testing; impedance testing for determining the effect of fluid in the middle ear; hearing-aid evaluation, purchase and servicing; and electronystagmography (ENG), which tests balance function. The division also evaluates and treats nasal allergies and sinus disorders; snoring and sleep apnea; and pediatric ear, nose and throat disorders. Our otolaryngologists also provide laser therapy for skin, head and neck disorders, evaluation and therapy for head and neck tumors and malignancies, and facial cosmetic reconstruction surgery.
