The infectious disease physicians at Bryn Mawr Hospital specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a variety of illnesses in adult and adolescent patients. These physicians treat infections in any organ system and infections as common as bronchitis, pneumonia, influenza and sexually transmitted diseases or as rare (in this country) as malaria and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. They also treat tuberculosis, Lyme disease, AIDS, Legionnaire’s disease and newly resistant bacterial infections.
