The hematologists and medical oncologists at Bryn Mawr Hospital evaluate
and treat patients with all forms of cancer. Through a referral
from your personal physician, our hematologists and medical
oncologists work closely with a wide variety of medical, radiation and
surgical specialists in a multidisciplinary team approach to your cancer
diagnosis. Test results, diagnoses and surgical outcomes are routinely
reported to your referring physician. Evaluations and treatment,
including cancer chemotherapy and radiation, are carried out
in well-equipped, comprehensive facilities by compassionate staff.
Supportive care includes blood transfusions, pain management and close
collaboration with social services, home care and hospice organizations.
