The Cancer Center of Paoli Hospital, as a Fox Chase Cancer Center partner, brings the best medical specialists to Chester County. This insures that patients have access to the latest advanced cancer care, treatment and research available. We are only one of 50 research programs in the country designated by the National Cancer Institute as a Community Clinical Oncology Program.
At the Holloway Breast Health Center, a combination of advanced technology and top radiologists & surgeons showcase our dedication to improving breast health for women of all ages. Our commitment to service, from screening and detection to individualized treatment options, set the standard for customized care.
In matters of the heart, we bring to Chester County the depth and breadth of cardiac care of the Main Line Health Heart Center. The spectrum of heart care—preventative care, diagnosis, surgery, electrophysiology through to rehabilitation and home care—is right here. And Paoli recently welcomed one of the world leading authorities in implantable ventricular assist devices as our chief of cardiac surgery.

From breaks, sprains and strains to arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement, Paoli Hospital’s Orthopedic Center is here for you. The Joint Replacement Program includes a comprehensive array of pre- and post-operative services that emphasize wellness and maximize patient recovery efforts through patient education, goal setting, family involvement and group interaction.
Today’s medical care demands the latest technology and Paoli brings it to your first. Paoli Hospital is proud of its investment in the state-of-the-art da Vinci® Surgical System. This advanced robotic-assisted technology allows surgeons to perform minimally invasive procedures to treat a variety of medical conditions, with significant advantages over traditional "open" surgeries. Advanced technology is the hallmark of our Imaging Services. PET/CT, MRI, CT Scan, DEXA Scan and ultrasound are available on the hospital campus and at our outpatient centers in Exton and Collegeville.
The list of innovative programs and services is endless. Our Wound Center with Hyperbaric Chambers is helping diabetics and others who have hard to heal, severe wounds, the Sleep Center is expanding to meet the increasing needs of our community, and the Hattersley Family Centered Maternity Unit had nearly 2,300 babies born in our private birthing suites.
Paoli has received national awards of recognition for its care. Our nurses, along with the nurses at Bryn Mawr and Lankenau Medical Centers, are Magnet nurses. What does that mean? It is the nation’s top nursing honor and only five percent of the country’s nursing staff has earned that distinction.
