Family-Centered Maternity Unit

Paoli's Maternity Unit provides private labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) birthing suites to accommodate mother and baby in the same room throughout the hospital experience.

Equipment that may be needed during labor and delivery is concealed in the cabinet by the bed. Each LDRP room also includes a server station containing everything required for patient care and a computer system to monitor the baby's heartbeat, mother's contractions and vital signs during labor and for easy entry of and access to clinical data.

A fully equipped operating room adjacent to the Maternity Unit is dedicated to patients requiring cesarean sections.
