JoAnn M. Magnatta joined Main Line Health in 2001 as senior vice
president of Facilities Design and Construction. In this role she
oversees the design, development and construction for the four acute
care hospitals, one rehab hospital, drug and alcohol treatment facility
and all affiliated entities. She is also responsible for the development
and management of all medical office buildings and ancillary facilities.
She began her health care career in 1988 at the Medical College of
Pennsylvania (MCP). She progressed through various facilities and real
estate positions at MCP and within the Allegheny University Hospitals
System including Vice President of Operations and Regional Vice
President of Facilities. In 1998, she became Regional Vice President of
Facilities for Tenet Healthcare’s Pennsylvania Region. Prior to joining
Main Line Health, Magnatta served as Corporate Vice President of Real
Estate Service and Facilities at Continuum Services, a five hospital
Manhattan- based system. She is a member of several local regional and
national based organizations such as the International Facilities
Management Association and Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW) and
was appointed to Villanova University’s College of Liberal Arts Advisory
Board.
