Main Line HealthCare (MLHC), formerly Great Valley Health, Inc., was
incorporated in 1987. In August 1995, MLHC began to structure the
physician primary care network aligned with Main Line Health, Inc.
(MLH). Its purpose was to develop and manage a dynamic network of
primary care physicians comprised of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine,
Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Pediatric practices that would become a

importance to the System, and enabling MLHC to develop a network in
harmony with ongoing Main Line Health System initiatives. The goal of

The Main Line Health System includes four acute care Hospitals (Bryn
Mawr, Lankenau, Paoli, and Riddle hospitals), a physical rehabilitation
hospital (Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital), drug and alcohol rehabilitation
center (Mirmont Treatment Center), outpatient centers, home care
services, physician practices, a research institute, and a host of other
