The obstetricians at Main Line Health offer complete, family-centered care for women with normal and high-risk pregnancies;
perform monitoring and testing during pregnancy and delivery of the newborn and care for the mother throughout the postpartum
period. When health status, family history, a mother's age, or an obstetrical finding increase the risk in pregnancy, your
obstetrician may refer you to the Main Line Health Perinatal Testing Center for counseling and testing. Our expert perinatal
staff is available to help you and families make good decisions and get the finest care possible—from conception, all the
way through delivery. The Main Line Health Hospitals also provide personalized care to premature babies and other seriously
ill newborns in our Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). These units are staffed by board-certified neonatologists, specially
trained nurses, respiratory therapists, social workers and pharmacists whose primary responsibilities are to provide care
and services to babies.
Main Line Health also offers several classes for expecting and new parents. Be sure to register for our New Parent e-news to receive newsletters containing important information on health, nutrition, learning and development tailored to seven
stages of pregnancy and early parenthood.
