Physician Referral Service About The Physician Referral Service MLH's Find a Doctor is a searchable online listing of over 1,300 Main Line Health physicians consisting of biographical and contact information. It's a great way to make patients and peers aware of all of your services and expertise and to promote your medical practice. Links to Find a Doctor are prominently placed on every web page of the Main Line Health website -- just look for the blue "Find a Doctor" button in the right hand column of every page. Find a Doctor online consists of TWO pages: an initial profile page with a brief summary on each physician; and a secondary page with more detailed information about the physician's background, experience and medical practice.
Physicians are encouraged to provide as much detailed information about themselves as possible in order to give patients a complete and accurate picture of their expertise and capabilities. Physicians may also include a head shot photograph that can be featured on both their profile and practice pages. The Main Line Health Marketing Department may schedule photo shoots periodically throughout the year at MLH hospitals for use on the website physician directory and in other marketing materials. Please keep an eye out for announcements of such sessions. If no photo session is currently scheduled, physicians wishing to have a photo on their practice page can provide a photo of their own.
Physicians can provide digital/electronic photos of higher resolutions and larger dimensions. JPG is the preferred format but non-JPG formats such as GIF, TIF, BMP, or EPS are acceptable. Marketing will make copies, crop and resize to the proper size, resolution and file format for posting on the website. These can be sent to Marketing as email attachments or on a disk or CD. Physicians can also provide Marketing with a color photo print from 3” x 5” up to 8” x 10” for scanning and conversion to the appropriate format, dimensions, resolution and file size.
