Symposium: Screening Athletes to Avoid Sudden Cardiac Death
Each year too many young athletes die due to undiagnosed cardiac disease.  In each instance we are left to wonder, how in the world could this seemingly healthy young person be a victim? The good news is that this can be prevented. The Main Line Health Heart Center is taking the lead in promoting knowledge about diagnosing these cardiovascular disorders in young athletes. On May 12, 2008, we will conduct an innovative half-day symposium, State-of-the-Art Evaluation of Athletes: Avoiding Sudden Cardiac Death, geared toward physicians and athletic trainers. Learn More!
