Program Director: Daniel C. Lazowick, D.O., F.A.C.P.
In July 2004 Lankenau began its dually approved Osteopathic Internship Program. There are eight positions available. Interns
are selected through the AOA Intern Registration Program based on academic achievement, letters of recommendation, results
of interviews, and other information provided in support of their application. All interns must remain members of the American
Osteopathic Association.
All applications will be processed through ERAS. The Internal Medicine Residency Program will be interviewing applicants for
the Osteopathic Match.
About the Director Dr. Lazowick received his osteopathic degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he also served his
internship. He then came to Lankenau for his residency in Internal Medicine. He joined the staff in 1997 and has been actively
involved with our teaching program ever since. Dr. Lazowick was recently appointed as the Director of Medical Education for
Lankenau's Osteopathic Internship Program. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University
School of Medicine and on the Adjunct Faculty at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the Medical Director
of Lankenau's Transitional Care Center. Dr. Lazowick is certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the
American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
