Compensation
The compensation scale for Fellows is available upon request and is very competitive with comparable programs in our area. Please Click Here for a sample of the 2008-09 Main Line Health Residency/Fellowship contract. 

Vacations
Vacations must be cleared and submitted in writing at least one month in advance to the Program Director. Fellows are entitled to three (3) weeks of vacation time and one (1) week of conference time each year. They should not exceed more than one (1) work week at any time, unless specific exceptions are made by the Program Director. No more than one fellow is allowed on vacation at any given time without prior permission from the Fellowship Program Director.

Allowable Conference Expenses
The Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program is given an annual budget for conferences and books through the Graduate Medical Education Office.

• PGY4 - $1,500.00 Conference Allowance - $250.00 Book Allowance
• PGY5 - $1,700.00 Conference Allowance - $250.00 Book Allowance
• PGY6 - $1,900.00 Conference Allowance - $250.00 Book Allowance

Specific information on Maternity Leave, Extended Sick Leave, Disability Benefits, Substance Abuse, etc. are referred to in the trainee contract.
