The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) is a free-standing facility on the campus of Lankenau Hospital with a faculty of 19 principal investigators and their groups
who study cancer, aging and cardiovascular disease.
LIMR is one of the few independent medical research sites in the Mid-Atlantic region. It conducts basic, preclinical and clinical
research funded mainly by the National Institutes of Health and other federal and private sources. Its rich environment for
biomedical research and medical education exists as a result of interactions between LIMR faculty, Main Line Health physicians
and the Annenberg Center for Medical Education. In addition, LIMR also sponsors research conducted in the Main Line Health
Stroke Program, the Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) and the Morbidity and Mortality in Hemodialysis Program (HEMO).

discoveries from the laboratory bench to the patient bedside, helping extend the boundaries of human health and well-being.
