Main Line HealthCare was formed in 1995 to develop and manage a dynamic network of physician practices throughout the suburban Philadelphia area. Today, in today's ever-evolving healthcare environment, paperwork, regulations and economic factors are serious impediments to the actual practice of medicine. Through its affiliation with Main Line Health, Main Line HealthCare is able to access an extensive supply of resources and leverage tremendous economies of scale. The organization provides practice management and operations support, allowing physicians to spend more time on clinical aspects of medicine while minimizing administrative burdens. Through group contracting, Main Line HealthCare plays an increasingly important role in managed care throughout the region.
