The hospitals of Main Line Health offer a wide variety of educational programs to help patients and their families learn more about and deal with the challenging issues of stroke. These programs are FREE to the public and meet or are conducted regularly at locations throughout our service area. Call the numbers listed below for more information about each group or program.



Stroke Screenings
Learn the warning signs and your risk factors for stroke and "mini-strokes" or TIA's. This 15-minute screening includes blood pressure and heart rate check and a nurse will listen to the carotid arteries in your neck. Take the opportunity to learn the warning signs of a stroke and discuss your personal risk factors with a nurse. Stroke screenings taking place in your community. Call 1-866-CALL-MLH to register for a stroke screening.


Support Groups
Main Line Health works with the following stroke support groups:

  • Stroke Support Group - Children & Family/Survivors;  Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Conference Room 1,  2nd Mon each month at 7 PM.  Call  610-251-5430.
