At Mirmont Treatment Center our team of highly skilled and experienced
physicians, registered nurses, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners,
master’s level therapists, certified addiction counselors and pain
management practitioners work together to develop and implement an
appropriate, individualized treatment plan for each patient, making us
the substance abuse treatment center of choice in the region. In
fact, in fiscal year 2012, Mirmont cared for 2,080 adult admissions, a
25 percent increase from the previous year.
In order for Mirmont to continue to help those struggling with
addiction, we need the community’s support for an expansion campaign
that will help to create a new state-of-the-art facility.
Construction is scheduled to begin this spring on Mirmont’s new Health
Services Unit, which will provide the latest concepts in substance-abuse
30 semi-private patient rooms.
A 900-square-foot Meditation Room complete with vaulted
ceilings that will house Mirmont’s ‘mindfulness’
approach to treatment. The Meditation Room will
give our patients the kind of peaceful environment that
promotes self-reflection – a quiet place to work with
whatever issues contribute to keeping them from
attaining and maintaining sobriety.
A large patient lounge. Designed to be more like a
family room in someone’s home, it will be a welcoming
area offering patients, currently in treatment for
detoxification, a place to relax. Patients will
gather here to socialize, share community life and have
conversation in between scheduled activities.
A state-of-the-art nurse workstation, complete with four
assessment and treatment bays ensuring the safety and
confidentiality of our patients. The new Nurses’
Station allows for more patient interaction and helps
facilitate medical documentation. Mirmont will
implement a new Electronic Medical Record system which
will improve the accuracy and timeliness of recorded
patient data, leading to better patient outcomes.
