Research and Clinical Trials

We offer clinical trials for preventing cancer and treating cancer at various stages.

The Medical Science Building at Lankenau is the proposed future location of the Center for Cancer Prevention & Treatment. This building will house physicians and clinicians who specialize in prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer in an environment that fosters collaboration with basic science research initiatives through the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research.

Lankenau physicians are recognized nationally and internationally for pioneering programs and treatment options in cancer. The integrated cancer team offers sophisticated technology, breakthrough research, and advanced medical treatments in a highly personalized, accessible environment.

At the core of Lankenau's treatment philosophy is a multidisciplinary “conference” approach. For example, every Tuesday at “Breast Cancer Conference,” the entire team of breast cancer specialists reviews each patient’s unique case. This highly collaborative approach questions, probes, and pushes the envelope to consider all plans of action for truly individualized treatment and care. A similar approach to cancer treatment is offered for patients with lung cancer and colorectal cancer.
