The Infectious Disease physicians at Lankenau Hospital specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of a variety of illnesses in adult and adolescent patients. These physicians treat infections in any organ system and infections as common as bronchitis, pneumonia, influenza and sexually transmitted diseases, or as rare (in this country) as malaria and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. They also treat diseases such as tuberculosis, Lyme disease, AIDS, Legionnaire’s disease and newly resistant bacterial infections.
