U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals (2014–2015)
US News & World Report has ranked Lankenau as the 7th best
hospital in the entire state of Pennsylvania and one of the top 5
hospitals in the Philadelphia region. Lankenau is also recognized for
high performance in 12 of 16 specialties including cancer, cardiology
& heart surgery, diabetes & endocrinology, ear, nose &
throat, gastroenterology & GI surgery, geriatrics, gynecology,
nephrology, neurology & neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, and
urology. U.S. News & World Report recognizes hospitals that
excel in treating complex patients.
This year, Lankenau Medical Center received a national ranking as the
46th top hospital for Diabetes & Endocrinology. Only three percent
of the hospitals that were analyzed for Best Hospitals 2014–15 earned a
2014 Mission: Lifeline—Silver Receiving
American Heart Association recognizes Lankenau Medical Center with a
silver award for achieving 85 percent or higher composite adherence to
all Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center Performance Achievement
indicators for consecutive 12-month intervals, 75 percent or higher
compliance on all Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center quality
measures, and First-Door-to-Device time of 120 minutes or less for
transfers, to improve the quality of care for STEMI patients.

2015 Top 50 Cardiac Hospitals Award
the eighth year, Lankenau Medical Center has been named one of the
nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals® by Truven Health Analytics, a
leading provider of information and solutions to improve the cost and
quality of health care. Lankenau is the only hospital in the region, and
one of only two hospitals in Pennsylvania, to make the list for 2015.
