Dear Patient,
I am pleased and excited to announce that on July 1, 2012 I will
relocate my practice to the beautiful, 93-acre campus of Lankenau
Medical Center—located just off of City Line Avenue and only minutes
from downtown Philadelphia. This change of venue allows me to continue
offering exceptional quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care in a
state-of-the-art, patient-centric environment.
In addition to my ongoing role as your cardiologist, I have been
appointed Director of Clinical Cardiology at Main Line Health. In this
position, I will help grow an already outstanding cardiovascular faculty
while continuing to practice medicine in a nationally recognized,
world-class facility that is at the forefront of cardiovascular
medicine.
My relocation to Lankenau Medical Center, by virtue of its
state-of-the-art facilities and technology, will permit me to provide
superior cardiovascular care, while also providing an opportunity for my
patients to be treated in a compassionate, comfortable, convenient, and
patient-friendly environment. I will be collaborating with other
outstanding, superbly trained clinicians and caregivers to provide all
aspects of medical care for my patients.
I am very pleased to inform you that Sonia Mendez, BSN, MSN, my nurse
practitioner, will continue to practice with me at Lankenau and will
provide you with the same outstanding, attentive, and responsive care
for which she is known. Be assured that my entire staff is committed to
providing you with a seamless transition of care and with the
high-quality medical care that you have come to expect. We welcome you
to join us at our new venue, and will do all that is necessary to help
ensure that your experience will meet or exceed your expectations.
Please feel free to contact us
online or at 484.572.0112 with any questions, or to
schedule your next appointment.
Sincerely,
Irving M. Herling, MD
Director, Clinical Cardiology
Main Line Health
