Lankenau Medical Center is committed to providing a superior patient
experience. One that brings together the skilled expertise, advanced
medical treatments and innovative technology of a full academic medical
center with the comforts and convenience of a modern, suburban campus.
To meet this goal, Lankenau has undertaken the largest building
expansion and renovation project since moving to our current location in
1953. This $500 million transformation will enable us to accommodate the
growing needs of our community, attract and retain the best doctors and
medical staff, and remain at the forefront of advances in medicine and
research.
As a nationally-recognized leader in cardiovascular care, Lankenau is
taking cardiac medicine into the future with the construction of our new
Heart & Vascular Pavilion.
This specially-designed building will enable us to provide seamless,
comprehensive cardiovascular care in a dedicated,
technologically-advanced facility.

The construction work that began in 2009 will span a period of five
years. It is part of the Master Facility Plan, a visionary blueprint
that aligns with our mission to shine in the areas of Patient Care
Excellence, Academic Achievement and Innovative Research. The changes
