Class Title: "50/50" - What's Up Doc? Film Series presented by Bryn Mawr Hospital and Bryn Mawr Film Institute - Bryn Mawr Hospital
Selected Date: This event currently has no upcoming dates.

Laughter is the best medicine during this special comedy edition of BMFI’s ongoing “What’s Up, Doc?” film series, shown in partnership with Bryn Mawr Hospital. Introduced by physicians who will give insight into the conditions or maladies depicted in the films, these screenings entertain and inform as one learns where science ends and fiction begins.

Join us on Wednesday, February 26th for a showing of "50/50" starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt finds humor in unlikely places in this compelling dramedy about a young man diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer. With a fifty-fifty chance of survival, he relies on the support of his best friend (Seth Rogen) as he struggles to beat the disease and keep his spirits high in the face of grim circumstances.

Dr. Linna Li, a specialist in radiation oncology from Bryn Mawr Hospital, will introduce this screening.
