Join us for a fun and informative St. Patrick's Day themed evening to launch of the Celiac Center at Paoli Hospital. As Medical Director of Paoli's new Celiac Center, Keith Laskin, MD will provide a brief introduction to the Center, including its mission, experienced staff, and multiple services, as well as the evening's keynote speaker, Alessio Fasano, MD. Dr. Fasano, a nationally recognized expert in celiac disease research from the University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research, will provide an overview of the disease, as well as current research initiatives. After, a panel discussion featuring Dr. Fasano and registered dietitian Nancy Patin Falini, RD, LDN and moderated by Dr. Laskin, will give attendees the opportunity to submit their questions about celiac disease and research.

Attendees will have the chance to sample and enjoy gluten-free foods from local and national vendors, along with a wee bit of Irish entertainment in celebration of the holiday. Educational materials about the Celiac Center and celiac disease in general will also be available.
