This one-day class is an alternative for couples who are unable to attend the three-week series due to time constraints or fluctuating schedules. The content is the same as the Prepared Childbirth series, but taught in an accelerated fashion.

A tour of the labor/delivery/maternity area is also included. If you are registering for a 3 week or One Day Prepared Childbirth Class, please do not register for a separate tour, as a tour is included in your class. The hospital tours are reserved for expectant couples. Other family members can visit you in maternity after the arrival of your new baby

You should bring 2 bed pillows to the class. There will be a break for lunch, but lunch is not included in the registration fee. You may bring a lunch or purchase something in the cafeteria.

When registering, please use the mother's name and date of birth.

In the event of inclement weather or to check for any possible last minute class changes, please call the MLH Birth and Beyond Class Cancellation Phone Line at 484 - 565 - 1462. This number will confirm whether or not class will be held, as well as plans to reschedule. The decision to cancel a class/tour is made by 4:30pm for evening classes/tours and 7:30am for Saturday classes.
