‘What’s Up Doc?’ film series to return at Bryn Mawr Film Institute
Mawr Film Institute and BMH are teaming up again to present the “What’s
Up Doc?” film series. Now in its seventh year, the Wednesday,7pm series
pairs recent hits and Hollywood favorites with introductions by
physicians that explore the medical truths behind the films. BMH
physicians will introduce each film.
The series includes:
February 12: Nancy Meyers’ Something’s
Gotta Give, Cardiologist, Dr. Tarun Mathur
February 26: Jonathan Levine’s 50/50,
Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Linna Li
March 12: Carl Reiner’s The Man with Two
Brains, Neurologist, Dr. Richard A. Eisner
March 26: Robert Zemeckis’ Death Becomes
Her, Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Ronald Lohner
April 9: Vincente Minelli’s Father’s Little
Dividend , OB/GYN, Dr. Patricia Ischiropoulos
All screenings will include themed giveaways, courtesy of Bryn Mawr
Tickets are $12 general admission, $9 for seniors and students with ID,
and $6.50 for Bryn Mawr Film Institute members. Advance tickets are
