Mammography is the first line of defense in the detection of breast
cancer. Our Center offers the latest technology and expertise in breast
imaging. All services are designed to give women accurate and timely
information to make informed decisions about their breast health.
Radiology services are provided by board-certified physicians who are
dedicated breast imagers. Our technologists are mammography-certified
through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Digital Mammography: Digital mammography
captures images and converts them to a computerized display,
offering greater clarity and reducing the need for callbacks. In
addition, our computer-aided detection software provides a
second look at films, increasing our cancer detection rate.
High-Resolution Ultrasound: High-resolution
scanning provides superior detail for a more accurate and
complete analysis of breast abnormalities.
High-Risk Assessment and Genetics Screening:
Through our High-Risk Breast Cancer Program, we help women
identify their lifetime risk for breast cancer and offer
recommendations for screening and healthcare decisions. We also
offer innovative initiatives for high-risk women, including
ductal lavage and ductoscopy.
Bone Density Scanning: Bone density
scanning, also called dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) or
bone densitometry, is a simple, painless procedure that measures
bone density, an accurate predictor for osteoporosis. Since many
women with a higher risk of breast cancer should not use
