Bryn Mawr Hospital’s experienced medical
oncology team specializes in the health and well-being of individuals
with cancer. Made up of board-certified medical oncologists,
oncology-certified nurses and support staff, this team provides you with
individualized treatments delivered in a caring, compassionate
environment. Our medical oncologists can offer you the latest medical
therapies, including hormone therapy, chemotherapy and new targeted
therapies that hone in on the cancer cells alone and minimize damage to
normal, healthy tissue. They also help patients deal with symptomatic
issues related to chemotherapy.
Physicians in our department are passionate about clinical research. We
are a part of the Main Line Health Community Clinical Oncology Program
(CCOP), and will work with you to find the best options available for
your care, including discussing participation in clinical trials (if
applicable to your care).
