BMRH Stroke Programs <
A person with a stroke and his or her family are the central members of a team that includes many different clinical specialists. These specialists work to address the specific cognitive, behavioral,
physical, and emotional difficulties that an individual can face after a brain injury. The comprehensive treatment team includes
a rehabilitation physician, internal medicine physician, case manager, rehabilitation nurse, physical therapist, occupational
therapist, speech/language pathologist, psychologist, and as required, a neuropsychologist, cognitive rememdiation specialist,
recreation therapist, and registered dietitian.
