Endocrinologists diagnose and treat disorders of the endocrine glands, including diabetes mellitus, and disorders affecting
the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands, the pancreas and reproductive organs. The scope of Division activities
also includes disorders of bone and mineral metabolism, lipoprotein metabolism, endocrine hypertension and endocrine aspects
of other organ systems.
