When health status, family history, a mother's age, or an obstetrical finding increase the risk in pregnancy, your obstetrician may refer you to the Lankenau Hospital Perinatal Testing Centers for counseling and testing.  The Perinatal Testing Center provides a comprehensive range of procedures to assess your baby's condition, rule out or confirm potential medical complications or problems and help physicians manage or prevent difficulties.

Under the direction of a perinatologist, the Lankenau Hospital Perinatal Testing Center has a dedicated staff of physician experts, perinatal sonographers, and perinatal nurses that team up with your obstetrician or mid-wife to provide any perinatal services you may need during your pregnancy.

The Lankenau Hospital Perinatal Testing Center is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). Accreditation validates that nationally accepted standards are met and that consistent excellence in patient care is demonstrated.
